Today featuring... a Glenrothes Single Malt from Speyside. Aged in Sherry Butt cask, distilled in 2008 and bottled in Scotland in 2022, only 180 bottles were produced. 45% ABV
TASTING PROFILE
Initially very malty, with dominant notes of wine-like sherry, red plum, and red fruits, ending with dry spices, walnuts, hazelnuts, almond coil, a reminiscence of dark woods.
Really opulent, bold, and tannic, with a slight oiliness and a bitter, dry finish.
